Peace where you're planted
How do you face conflict? We live in a world where conflict is inevitable. Such conflict doesn't have to be destructive. Conflict has the power to transform. Have you ever considered how transforming the way you approach conflict could create more peace in your life?
What: You’ve probably heard the saying, “Bloom where you’re planted,” or something else along those lines, but what about peace? The idea of "Peace Where You're Planted" Workshops is simple. You can be "peace where you're planted" in how you feel and influence peace in your own life.
Why: We are all capable of growing peace. Developing our skills starts with a commitment to learn and a desire to change.
How: Each workshop is designed using current and effective strategies to help individuals develop skills to be a better practitioner of peace in their homes, work, and communities. Every workshop is interactive and teaches participants how they can grow peace using the core concepts of connect, listen, and influence.
Core Concepts
Connect | Listen | Influence
Each of the Peace Where You're Planted Workshops stem from the core concepts: Connect, Listen, and Influence. In workshops, participants will develop skills related to each core concept. Participants will engage through discussion, activities, and reflection on how they can better implement practices of connection, listening, and influence.
